It took a while, but I've finally added a storyline jumper to the site. Beneath the strip in the normal daily comic view, you'll find a dropdown menu with quick access to the 41 storylines we've covered thus far.

That is all.

Chronicle turns one today. I don't have the time I wish I had to write something more in-depth, but I'll just say here that I've had a blast drawing these characters every day for the last year. I'm very excited for the next year, and the next. Look for lots of changes coming in the next few months as we take the story to the next level.

Thanks to all the readers and supporters!

Rifftrax.com has launched iRiffs, a new call to fan riffers across the globe, and have generously asked Riff Raff Theater, Incognito Cinema Warriors XP, and yours truly to help launch the project. Three of my short videos are offered as of now, with more stuff on the way. Mike Nelson chimes in today with this blog post.

Comic-con Spoils 2008

San Diego was a blast. I rubbed shoulders with some webcomic giants, met one of the greatest living animators, saw some footage from next year's Pixar film, and saw the Rifftrax boys mock Plan 9 From Outer Space live on stage. Check out all my photos at my Flickr stream.

Pictured above is the mass of books I picked up at the con this year. I urge you to check these out if you like comics and animation: Chainsawsuit and Starslip Crisis Volume 2 by Kris Straub, Evil Inc. Annual Report Vol. 1 by Brad Guigar, The Case of the Mummy's Gold by Penny Arcade, CAKE Anthology by the members of Art Jumble, Who is Rocket Johnson by various Disney artists, Sheldon Volume 2 The Good, the Bad, and the Pugly by Dave Kellett, Save the Babies by Charlie Bink, How to Make Webcomics by the Halfpixel boys, Beards of Our Forefathers by David Malki!, Kiskaloo by Chris Sanders and Character Animation Crash Course by Eric Goldberg. It may seem excessive, but I wait all year for a chance to buy these books directly from their creators in San Diego. Lots of inspiration!

Don't know if you've heard, but there's a comics hootenanny this weekend in Caifornia. I won't have a booth, but I'll be there. I'll be guy who looks like me. I'll have a thousand two-sided, full-color fliers and a small stack of books with me. I invite any Chronicle readers in attendance to accost me, say hi, and buy a book if ya like. I probably won't assault you.

Comic-con is always full of wonders, but this year is particularly huge. The two highlights being the 20th anniversary reunion with the full cast of MST3K, and two Rifftrax Live performances (which are not technically an event of the con). Needless to say, I'm fairly excited.

Then, of course, there's the fun of combing the exhibition floor, meeting cartoonists and artists, and avoiding eye contact with the cosplayers. Here's the mask I'll be wearing:

The Webcomics Digest, a new blog dedicated to Webcomic reviews, recommendations, and discussion has rounded out a series called "Required Reading" with a very nice piece on our little newspaper comic. Many thanks to blogger/musician Jon Eric for his kind assessment of the strip and for the exposure. If you care about webcomics, go bookmark or subscribe to this blog!
